Marilyn Cardona has been creating for as long as she can remember.  Her artistic nature began at an early age from drawing for pleasure while emersed in music to designing and making clothes for music performances.  Marilyn went on to attend Wood Tobe-Cuburn in NY where she majored in Design.  She immersed herself in the art and music scene, frequenting museums and attending workshops.

This endearing artist cherishes all that is around her and within her beginning with her cultural upbringing.  An American.. a hispanic...a spaniard.. she is by far an interesting individual. Constantly influenced and inspired by her love of travel, love of culture, by the everday she never ceases in her creative process.  Marilyn has the unique ability to translate onto the canvas life, faces, moments and  emotions with ease while infusing her cultural identity. Paintings by Marilyn Cardona are currently in private collections nationally. Expect her work to reach an international art audience for this cultural being is poised to capture all lover's of art.
